Schönes, innen sauberes Exemplar.
Scarce edition by de Tournes, a reprint of that in 1553, but only this one with the woodcut portrait of Marot (cf. Cartier). 2 parts in 1 vol. Contains 22 woodcut illustrations by B. Salomon. 19th cent. marbled calf (signed "Lloyd") with rich gilt spine, double label, gilt fillets, inside gilt border and gilt edges. - Minor rubbing to edges of binding, front board detached. Else fine copy.
