Cf. Garrison/Morton 1597; Blake pp. 451f.; Waller 9605. - Not recorded by Fromm. - First published in Lausanne in 1761. "A tract on medicine written for the lay public, it ran through several editions and was translated into all European languages" (Garrison/M.). - The appendix with the Vermehrungen, Zusätzen und Verbesserungen as well as a complete register was published two years later. - Slightly foxed, 1 corner with small squeeze mark, last ll. somewhat waterstained. Binding rubbed and bumped, spine ends with small defects.
