Hain/Cop. 8944. - Goff H 486. - BMC I, 44. - Nissen, Bot. 2362. - Garrison/Morton 96. - First edition. - Completely revised and increased version of Gart der Gesundheit, one of the nicest books with woodcuts from the 15th century. - This fragment contains a text from the book De herbis , the work's first part, and 7 ll. index. - Mostly waterstained or with traces of damp, with defective margins and corners in the beginning, caused by mice, some ll. detached and with marginal blemishes. Binding defective.
First edition. Fragment with 189 leaves from the book "De herbis". With nearly 380 woodcuts (of 1066) and red painted initials, rubricated throughout. Contemp. wooden boards. - Mostly waterstained or with traces by damp, corner damage by mice at beginning, some leaves detached and with marginal defects. Binding damaged.
