Watercolor over pencil.
Signed in lower right. On firm creme paper. 49.5 x 33.2 cm (19.4 x 13 in), the full sheet.
• Fascinating composition that proves Kirchner's graphic and coloristic mastery.
• Made in the loneliness of Kirchner's last retreat, the "Haus am Wildboden" in the Sertig Valley near Davos, where Kirchner committed suicide in 1938.
• In 1924 the very similar and rare woodcut "Sertigstrasse im Winter" and the painting "Sertigweg im Sommer" were created.

• Regularly shown in Kirchner museum exhibitions since the 1990s.
