• Part of a German private collection for more than 35 years.
• Pechstein manages to capture the essence of the female nude with a few poised lines.
• The depicted lady's elegant open posture resembles the posture in the paintings ("Frauen am Wasser" and "Akt auf Teppich", Soika 1914/13 and 1914/14) from the same year
.
