Index Aurel. 101.863. - Cf. Caillet 87; Rosenthal 12 ff.; Ackermann V, 736; Duveen p. 6. - Not recorded by VD16, BM STC and by Adams. - Very scarce copy with erroneous date "MXXXVII" on the title leaf. Probably Agrippa's most famous writing, which takes a rather critical look at the church, sciences and art, was first published in 1530. A large part of it is on occult sciences, which sparked a controversy and caused it to be indexed. - Few ll. slightly stained, title with ownership entries and ink stains. Binding slightly scraped, bumped and upper spine end with small defective spot.

Some leaves slightly stained, title with ownership entries and ink line. Binding scraped, bumped and head of spine with small defective spot.
