Antiphonar. Liturgic manuscript on vellum.Spain, 16th century. 164 ll. Size of sheets ca. 50 : 35 cm, text and notes area ca. 40 : 25 cm. 6 lines text and notes. Black rotunda with red heightenings and black square notes on 5 red lines. With 3 large splendid initials in red and blue and 160 fleuronnée initials in red and blue as well as numerous calligraphed initials in black. Contemp. wooden boards (1,4 cm thick) with blindtooled calf covering, each board with 4 large renewed brass corner fittings. Imperial-Folio (53 : 37 cm). In new wooden slipcase.
Decorative manuscript on strong vellum. - Lacking ca. 8 ll. at the end. - 14 ll. with defective margins (mostly affecting the music notes; 11 at side, 3 at top and bottom), somewhat rubbed in places. Boards somewhat wormed, covering on edges and spine ends partly mended.

Contemp. calf over strong wooden boards with large new brass corner fittings on both boards. - Lacking ca. 8 leaves at end. 14 leaves with marginal section up to the text area, here and there somewhat rubbed. Some worming to boards, edges and spine ends partly with mended spots to covering.
