Schweiger II, 762-63. - Adams P 1501. - BM STC, French Books p. 355. - Dibdin II, 310: "The celebrity of Lambinus in almost every classical work which he edited, has already been frenquently noticed. Of this admirable edition, Lambinus lived to finish only the first twelve comedies ... ". - The first 20 ll.with insignificant browning, the last 2 ll. with small marginal defect. Binding scraped, joints somewhat torn, upper spine end chipped. Else fine and clean copy.
Woodcut printer's mark on the title and several woodcut initials in the text. 18th century leather binding. boards. - Only first 20 ll. browned in the margins. Binding rubbed, head of spine slightly damaged.
